115 Film: Oh Snap!

Here's some more development work for my 115 film: Oh Snap!

New 3D Character Animation: Dancing

In my computer animation class, we have been assigned to animate a charcter dancing to a piece of music of our choice. I've decided to do a teenage girl dancing in her room to Britney Spears' I'm A Slave For YOu Here are just some rough sketches of how I envision her.

Gestures: Spring 12

Here are some of my recent gestures and behavior studies.

The Great Escape

This was the final project in 129B (intermediate computer animation). Each student had to animate and light a scene. Every time you seea new shot it is a different student. My scene is after he drops into the sewer, he come around the corner and takes a moment to think and breathe. Enjoy!

Enchanted Forest (Day and Night)

Here is the final product from my 113B class. Im happy with how they turned out. I wasn't sure how great the end result would be, considering I'm a better animator than a painter. I know that there are some problems, especially with the day forest, but certainly learned a lot and I'm proud of what I accomplished.

Tree Studies

Leaf Rendering

Acorn Rendering

Egg Rendering

Perspective Studies

I'm finally starting to learn how to properly draw in perspective. I still have a lot to learn, but here are some of my most recent attempts.

Sketchbook

Here are some pages from my winter sketchbook. My perspective is all kinds of wrong, but my goal was to focus more on color than anything else.

Figure Drawings

Here is a small collection of some gesture drawings I've done recently.

Figures and Drapery

Figures and Drapery These three pieces were actually done for a hw assignment in Sheldon's class. I went a little beyond what was asked of the assignment (mainly drawing my own figures and drapery rather than copying from a master work). And while there are some things that need improving, I really love how they turned out and I had a blast working on them.

Protfolio

Hey All, so I've been accepted into the Animation/Illustration program at SJSU! I didn't want to post my portfolio until I knew the results, but now I can share it with you all! It was grueling and stressful but I'm ecstatic that I can to advance further into the program. I want to make a fresh start on my blog now that I've been accepted. So here's the first post of many to come. Thanks to my family and friends for their support I couldn't have done it with out you!
